We’ve been discussing dreading it since the summer, and last night the sorry moment was finally upon us: Ann Perkins and Chris Traeger bid farewell to Pawnee on Parks and Rec. All due respect to last night’s Community, it was kind of like, Not right now, Community. There are goodbyes to be had and feelings to be felt. And sure enough, there were more feelings in Rashida Jones’ and Rob Lowe’s final scenes than at a Lil’ Sebastian memorial, God rest his tiny-horse soul. There were also oh so many lines that made me laugh-cry—so I’m bronzing them for posterity like a hamburger trophy below. Leslie, on her bond with Ann beginning with park talk at the city council meeting: “That promise launched a friendship so grand, it takes 103 scrapbooks to capture it.” Donna to Ann: “I’m gonna miss you too, Perkins. But now that you’re out of the dating pool, you know I’m gonna run this town, right?” Leslie: “Holy mother of Malia! And Sasha. I love them both equally.” Ann: “Leslie can’t watch anything with Julie Andrews in it before bedtime. It gets her too hyper.” Ben: “If Chris gets cranky around noon, just stuff some chia
