About this Hybr >
The sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain dubbed Guava Kush is a strain that competed in the 2014 L.A. Cannabis Cup. Its scent and taste are reminiscent of its name, being quite tropical and sweet. When harvest-ready, its buds are a faded mossy green due to the plethora of trichomes it harbors while having sparse vivid orange pistils.
THC levels average at around 21%, though this number can change depending on a crop’s cultivation methods. Its high has been described by reviewers as allowing relaxation into the body for nearly any given situation, while sparking creativity that can be transformed into intriguing conversation.
A warm/tingling sensation may spread throughout the body while it relaxes as some have experienced, and both chronic pain and insomnia have been treated using this strain. For others, sleep was possible as the high wore down.
Negative side-effects that reviewers have noted include cottonmouth, dry eyes, and occasionally paranoia when consuming above tolerance levels.

Genetics
The main goal in this project was to offer a typical USA flavour with our own touch. We crossed a of Guava (Chemdog x Afghani x Chem # 91)В elite cloneВ with our bestВ Juanita La LagrimosaВ mother plant. The result is a peculiar mix of earthy Guava flavors with fruity citric notes from Juanita La Lagrimosa.
Culture
Ideal for indoor grow rooms but also suitable for outdoor cultivation. High yields of frosty and compact buds.
Guava Berry Kush / Guayita is a stableВ Indica phenotype which develops aВ strong and prominentВ central bud. ItsВ little branching makes this strain perfect for the SOG technique. The broad and dark green leaves are clearly reminiscent of the Guava cut.
As we mentioned, its compact and uniform structure make it ideal for SOG setups (Sea of Green), for which we recommend to use between 20 and 25 plants per m 2 .
Guava Berry Kush / Guayita doesn’t demand much nutrients. It needs to be watered regularly during the flowering period, especially with temperatures above 25В°C. Another great trait of this variety is the high calyx-to-leaf ratio.
It is highly resistant toВ pests and diseases, also to adverse weather conditions like low temperatures.
Taste and effects
Guava Berry Kush / Guayita has an intenseВ earthy flavor with notes of sweet berries. The combination of these two parents provides unique and amazingВ KushВ flavors, long lasting and simply delicious.
Guava Berry Kush / Guayita’s effect isВ strong,В highly relaxing and narcotic. We recommend smoking it at the end of the day to combat stress and sleep disorders.
Most phenotypes haveВ very high CBD content.
