Buying cannabis seeds online can be frustrating to say the least…
Poor quality seeds, missing packages and unresponsive customer service is far too common.
Just check out any grower forum and you’ll see what I mean.
Some seed banks seem as though they just don’t care!
I’ve rated each seed bank out of 10 based on several key criteria (explained below ) and included a seed bank FAQs section at the end to answer some of the most commonly asked questions about purchasing seeds online.
What to look for in a good seed bank…
When looking for a good seed bank, there are several key criteria that you should to look out for.

IMPORTANT: My top 3 tips when choosing a seed bank and buying seeds online
I’ve purchase A LOT of seeds online and have gone through many of the frustrations most growers have (missing seeds, crap customer service, non germinating seeds)
Here are my top tips to having a stress free experience buying from an online seed bank:
1. Only ever buy feminized seeds. I can’t stress this enough. They might be a little more expensive than normal seeds but they’re worth it because you get less duds and therefore won’t spend as much time germinating or waiting for new seeds to be delivered.
2. Shipping times seem to be the number one gripe among growers buying seeds online. That’s because most of the good seed banks are in the EU and most of the growers are in the US or Canada. If shipping speed is important to you and you live in the USA, buy from a Canadian seed bank, not one in Europe. You might not use the best seed bank, but you will get your seeds faster.
3. I always like to choose a seed bank that has solid customer service. ALL seed banks will sometimes send seeds that don’t germinate, ALL seed banks will sometimes have slightly delayed shipping. When these things inevitably happen, it’s nice to know the customer service is there to take care of you.
4. Whatever Seedbank you choose, try to order a relatively small amount of seeds first to test out how the seedbank performs in terms of shipping and germination rates.
Ok, with that said, here are my detailed reviews of the top 10 seed banks:
Best Seed Banks To Order from Online
#1 – Seedsman
Seedsman is my number one pick when it comes to online seed banks, and the best EU seed bank by far.
This hugely popular seed bank offers one of the biggest selections of strains online (over 4,000! ) and their seeds have some of the lowest prices I could find online.
To add to their low prices, they also have loads of amazing promotions that can dramatically reduce the cost of your order.
The only negative about Seedsman is that their customer service could be a little better. Customer support is something that large businesses always seem to struggle with. When I called their phone number I got an automated service (Argh…) However, they replied to my email within 24 hours so they still manage to take top spot, just.
If you’re looking for high quality customer service and don’t mind paying a little more for it, then my second pick might be a better option for you.

#2 – I Love Growing Marijuana (ILGM)
I Love Growing Marijuana is run by Robert Bergman, a veteran grower with over 25 years of growing experience.
These guys might not have the largest collection ( around 80 different strains) but they do have some very high quality strains and awesome customer service.
Shipping is free for US, Canadian and European orders and delivered in just 10 to 15 days on average.
They guarantee delivery, and will re-ship your seeds if your order doesn’t arrive or gets seized.
In the event that your seeds do not germinate, they will be happy to replace them for free – nice!
ILGM’s website is super easy to use and can be viewed in English, Spanish, French or Dutch. Every strain on their site has lots of customer reviews and well laid out info about genetics.
They also have an active forum with helpful topics for beginners.
Check out my full review of ILGM here
#3 – Growers Choice Seeds
Growers Choice Seeds comes highly rated from several popular online forums and offers a variety of seeds suitable for every cannabis consumer.
One thing I appreciate about Growers Choice Seeds is their commitment to their products. According to their site, if 90 percent of your seeds do not germinate, they will send a replacement order.
Based on reviews from popular cannabis forums, they back this guarantee and are more than willing to work with you should you be unsatisfied with your order.
All orders are packaged to be as discreet as possible. Most of the time seeds are left in their original, air-tight packaging. However, in some cases seeds are removed from their packaging to ensure a safe and secure delivery. Additionally, orders outside the U.S. can receive special “stealth packaging” at no extra charge.
Depending on where you’re shipping your package, you can expect to receive your goodies within 7-25 business days. Most customers report being very satisfied with the shipping speed of their order.
Additionally, every order is given a tracking number so you can keep a close eye on your order from the moment it leaves the warehouse until it reaches your doorstep.

#4 – MSNL Seeds
MSNL is another well-established Seedbank that has been around since 1999.
Their refined strains are extremely high quality and raved about in the cannabis community.
They also offer a great selection of low cost value packs which are perfect for trying different seeds without spending lots of money.
In general, they tend to be a little more expensive than seedsman and have a smaller selection of strains. They also do not accept Bitcoin.
Check out my full review of MSNL here.
#5- Sensi Seeds
Sensi Seeds is one of the biggest names in the cannabis seed industry. They have won numerous Cannabis Cup awards and are a renowned brand worldwide.
Though their prices are a bit higher than other seed banks, you know you are getting some of the best genetics in the world when purchasing from Sensi Seeds.
Most reviews for Sensi Seeds are positive, though some report being unsatisfied with the quality of their seeds or not receiving their order.
Customer service seems a bit wishy-washy, though it does appear typically they try their best to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.
Every order is packaged in a discreet, unmarked envelope. There are no logos or advertising present on the packaging, making it virtually impossible to tell what is inside.
If you are lucky enough to live within the shipping range for Sensi Seeds, you can expect to receive your order within 2-10 business days from the date your payment is processed, depending on which shipping option you chose.
Check out my full review of Sensi Seeds here.
#6 – Crop King Seeds
Crop King Seeds has been in the game for almost 15 years, steadily climbing their way to the top.
Nowadays, they have made quite a name for themselves and you can find the “King” in a multitude of physical and online storefronts.
While offering a slightly smaller seed collection in comparison with other top seed banks, Crop King Seeds does have an advantage in that they only offer their own personally cultivated strains.
Crop King Seeds have just launched a new website and it is really well laid out and you can use various filters to easily search for a strain perfect for you. Plus, they offer a section devoted to teaching customers how to successfully germinate their new seeds.
According to reviews on popular online forums, customers either love the “King” or hate him. From what I’ve read, customer service seems a bit quick to point fingers at the customer rather than own up to any mistake on their end. However, for every negative review there are three that swear by this company for all of their cannabis seed needs.
All orders are shipped in special packaging designed to maintain freshness and be as discreet as possible. Only orders shipped within Canada will be packaged in authentic Crop King Seeds packaging. Seeds shipped to all other countries will come packaged in various other items, to maintain privacy.
Shipping speeds range from 2-7 business days for orders shipped within Canada, and up to two weeks for international orders.
Check out my full review of Crop King Seeds here.
#7 – Gorilla Seed Bank
Though relatively new to the game, the founders of Gorilla Seed Bank have more than 40 years of combined experience in the cannabis industry.
While they don’t have the biggest seed selection out there, Gorilla does offer seeds from some of the most reputable brands.
They also offer competitively low prices on nearly all of their products, something I always take into consideration when purchasing.
The main issue customers report have been small errors with processing payments or seed viability. However, it’s clear that customer service is the number one priority for this company, as nearly all reviews on popular online forums also report any issues being resolved promptly and adequately.
Depending on where the order is being sent, shipping times can vary from 1-24 business days. Most orders shipped within the UK will be received within 7 business days.
TIP: There are always a wide variety of seed promotions going on and freebie offers. The only downside is the minimum purchase amount is a bit higher than other sites I’ve browsed. I recommend checking the promotions page and considering making one or two bigger purchases, rather than multiple smaller ones, in order to take advantage of these awesome deals
#8 – Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds (AMS)
Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds has been in the cannabis game for 25 years with no sign of slowing down.
Their time in the industry definitely shows in their intuitive and user-friendly website.
Subscribe and you’ll get a free growing guide.
With the Netherland’s top breeders, you can expect fantastic seed and strain quality.
Their packaging is crush-proof and made to look like regular mail. You may not even recognize your package.
Conversely, being shipped straight from Amsterdam will mean relatively higher prices.
Fortunately, the shipping price may be offset by both their affordable seed options and combo packages.
Check out my full review of Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds here.
#9 – True North Seed Bank – Not recommended anymore
True North Seed Bank is a fairly new seed supplier based in Toronto, Canada.
They have a large selection of strains and some very nice discounts and promotions.
If you’re a US or Canadian customer, shipping is very fast with orders arriving in an average of 5-14 days.
Although I had no major issues with my order (8/10 feminized seeds germinated) customer feedback on TNSB seems to be quite polarised, and it seems to me that their slightly subpar customer service is the reason for this negative feedback. All seed banks have issues with seeds and shipping, but it’s how you deal with those issues that sets some seed banks apart.
#10 – Attitude Seed Bank
Attitude is a very popular seed bank based out of the UK.
They reportedly have some of the best genetics worldwide and offer thousands of seeds from more than 200 brands.
Most reviews from popular online forums are positive, though some mention orders being seized by customs.
Most of these customers however, did not pay for discreet shipping, which is something I always suggest.
Another common issue customers report is the quality of seeds can vary greatly.
Because Attitude sells a variety of seeds from numerous brands, it makes sense the lesser known brands may have lower quality products. This is why I always recommend buying seeds from already established and reputable brands.
One thing I always appreciate is saving a little extra money.
Attitude always has a wide variety of promotions running so be sure to take a look before placing your order to ensure you get your money’s worth!
Shipping speeds vary based on where the package is being sent.
International orders are typically received between 7 to 10 business days, though can take up to 21 business days.
TIP: Every order over £40 comes with various “freebies” (which is great to up the “discreet factor” of your package)
What payment methods can I use?
Most good seed banks offer a number of different ways to pay for your seeds:
Most seed banks take payment with debit or credit cards without any problem.
However, placing an order with standard bank cards can sometimes have issues if don’t usually order items from abroad using that card.
This might make other payment methods more appealing.
Personally, I use a credit card, which offers better protection than a stand card when buying online.
I’ve never had an issue ordering seeds online with my credit card.
Bitcoin is anonymous, safe and secure.
It’s therefore perfect for this type of transaction and the method of payment that most seed banks prefer.
Many seed banks offer incentives to purchase your seeds with Bitcoin.
Paying with cash means that there will be no record of the transaction on your bank account.
However, most seedbanks will appear very discretely on your bank statement anyway, and sending cash in the post is risky.
It’s very rare for a seed company to offer a Paypal as a payment option.
This is because Paypal strictly prohibits cannabis seed sales (get with the times PayPal! )
Online Seed banks get blocked from accepting payments once Paypal discovers what they are selling.
A standard direct transfer from your bank account to the seed banks account.
A bank transfer usually avoids any fuss with your credit card or bank card being blocked for suspicious activity.
It’s fast and secure and many Seed Banks recommend that you use this method
Anoutdated method of payment, but many seedbanks offer this option.
It’s fairly secure but takes a long time to process.
There’s definitely better ways to pay.
What is the best method of payment?
The absolute best method of payment to use with a seed bank is probably Bitcoin.
It only takes a few minutes to set up and means that all of your transactions are 100% anonymous, safe and secure.
Many seedbanks offer big discounts for payments made with bitcoin, so this is definitely something you should consider.
If like me you don’t fancy setting up Bitcoin, then use a standard credit card is the next best option.
Why are there no good US Seedbanks?
The current situation in the US is that although it’s usually safe to buy /order seeds online, it’s very risky for the seed bank sell them or send them from one state to another due to the different laws in each state.
This is the reason why it’s hard to find a long-established seed bank in the country.
Hopefully this will change in the near future.
All of the seed banks listed in this article will ship to the USA and Canada
What will happen if customs open my package?
Current customs laws in America indicates that if your seed package from abroad does get caught in the mail, you will not be put on any “list”.
Instead, the U.S. customs agents will simply toss the seeds and send you what’s left of the package.
They also send an official letter letting you know that your seeds were confiscated.
If this happens to you, simply contact the seed bank with evidence and they will gladly give you a replacement package.
Important disclaimer: Please note that this is not intended as legal advice
Do I need an account to purchase seeds?
No, most seed banks will allow you to complete checkout as a guest without having to register an account with them.
It’s my first grow, which strain should I choose?
Firstly, congratulations on deciding to grow – you’re going to love it!
For your first grow, I would recommend choosing a strain that’s known for it’s “easy to grow” characteristics.
Northern lights is a very popular strain that is exceptionally resilient to many common issues that affect cannabis plants while growing.
They also grow short and have a low odor, which can be beneficial for a number of reasons.
Purchasing cannabis seeds online can seem a little daunting at first.
However, buying from a well-respected and reliable seed bank should ease any fears that you have.
The seed banks listed in this article will take good care of you and ensure that you receive your seeds and that you are 100% happy.
Let me know what your favorite seed bank is in the comments below or if you’ve had any bad experiences!

I wouldn’t touch True North. Add on costs for card processing, more money to send by stealth, more money for guaranteed delivery which means you can get the same strains cheaper every where else. To top it off their customer service is shocking. Rarely respond to e-mails and even had one of their team tell me that they work remotely from them and they struggle to get answers from the management too.
Hey James! Thanks for the feedback on True North. When I contacted True North they replied pretty quickly, but maybe they aren’t very consistent. I have to admit, my current go-to seed banks at the moment are ILGM and Seedsman!
I Agree the Seedsman does have a good customer service which is Key from buying from any seed bank that goes for all businesses big and small good customer service always should come first before anything else, but it is also very easy to call the Seedsman from the states. So I see The Vault didn’t make your list, probably because they only started taking credit cards again after they moved to Spain but their main office is in the UK they also have comprehensive Grows about 4-5 times a year if you’re a member of Grasscity, RIU or 420magazine for some growers who may not have money to purchase seeds for whatever the situation maybe, but they will send you a pack of 5 autos and a T-shirt and seeds are usually from a Top Breeder like Dutch Passions which is side by side almost with Sensi Seeds which aren’t as Good as they once where, but still one of the Best for having Good genetics. Also I see who didn’t make the list is Nirvana with one of there flag ship strains Aurora indicia F1’s. I don’t Grow feminized seeds and a lot of old skool growers and master growers you will never grow femmed strains for their lack of stability, but I have grown in the past femmed strains with always Good results I just think Regs is where’s it’s at! Also Bodhi seeds or Great Lake genetics who have by far has the most Keepers and some of the best genetics out of any seed bank Imo! But for newer growers the Seedsman is probably the Best to deal with because of there Good freebies but The Vault seed bank has the most breeders out of any Bank out there and they also don’t Breed but Have a Lotta 100% free promotions and like mentioned sign up on Grasscity if you want free seeds when they do their comprehensive grows! Good article and agree on 95% of what you said.
Hey James, I tried to connect to True North as well as ILGM & my computer stopped me because they both had Malware attached. So everyone be careful. I can’t believe since Canada is legal that the price of seeds has sky rocked! Just plain crazy!
Hey ? Oh that’s very strange. I just checked the links and they seem to be working OK for me with no warnings. Is this happening for anyone else? There may be a short term increase in Canadian seed prices but with more and more states and countries legalising it should lead to more competition between the seed bank, which will mean lower prices in the long run!
True North Seed Bank Is ripping customers off and getting them red flagged at customs. I tried to get this resolved and have been ignored by TNSB Management. I’ve been sending this message around that TNSB ignores!
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with True North Seed Bank David ? Seed banks can be really hit and miss. For some people they receive their seeds no problem and others encounter big delays. I would always recommending ordering a small quantity of seeds from the seed banks on this list to see which ones work best for you. I’m a big fan of Seedsmand and ILGM. Seedsman has a better selection but ILGM has better customer support.
True North is nothing short of being a rip-off. Never have I had such problems with obtaining seeds. Do yourselves a favour and stay away from this dispensary.
I just ordered from Dr.Seeds where prices are far less. Shipping time and quality will follow.
Once again, stay far away from True North.
hello what about Dinafem seed Bank the side looks good the reviews are also postive and they even give sometimes somethig away ))
yes stay away from True North. i recently made an order for bubba kush humboldt.these come in a wooden block and the seeds are in a tube with a spot of glue on the side. my block was empty. customer serice made it good the same day i called but i will not take a chance with them again.

How Should I Pay for Seeds?
USA residents, please note that international orders will usually not go through if you try to use a standard pre-paid debit or credit card to order seeds unless it specifically says it will work internationally.
Debit or Credit Cards
What do we use to pay at GWE? I (Nebula) personally use a regular credit card every time I order cannabis seeds online. I’ve also used a debit card, too.
I like using a credit card when ordering seeds because in general credit card companies tend to offer better protection for online purchases than a bank. If there ever is a problem with a purchase of any kind, a credit card company will instantly give you a refund, while a bank tends to make you wait while they do an investigation.
Although this has never happened to me personally, when placing an order sometimes a card won’t go through because the overseas transaction has been flagged as suspicious because you don’t typically order things from overseas on that card. If that happens to you, you may need to call your bank to let them know you approve of the order. From what I’ve heard from growers in our growing forum, this seems to be a relatively quick and easy process. You could also always take your card and try somewhere else. It seems like this only happens with certain card and seed company combinations, and sometimes trying another company with the same card will work immediately without contacting your bank.
What About Paypal?
You will rarely see a seed company that offers Paypal as a listed payment option. This is because cannabis seed sales are prohibited by Paypal and a seed company’s account will get shut down instantly if Paypal finds out what they’re selling. However, just between you and me, sometimes if you email a seed company first and ask, they’ll be able to accommodate you with alternate payment options that aren’t offered on their website. But make sure to be cool and don’t ever message a seed company through Paypal so they don’t get in trouble. Always email seed companies through their personal email or website!
Is It Safe to Send Cash?
I personally have never sent cash through the mail. However, I know dozens of our readers and forum members have bought seeds online with cash, and (a little surprisingly to me) they don’t seem to have many problems. If you do send cash, make sure to only use a trusted seed source like the ones listed above, and always wrap your cash in paper so no one can see there’s cash inside through the envelope! It’s probably a good idea to start with a relatively small order, so you can test the system and the company before sending a large amount of cash through the mail! Remember, once it’s lost, it’s lost!
Which strain should I buy for my first grow?
There’s lots of great information about strains online, and via the Seed Finder link above.
My best suggestion is to do a little research on the strain and breeder, and grow a strain that seems interesting or exciting to you. If you’re still not sure, a great option for first time growers is Northern Light, since this strain is potent, stays short, is easy to grow, quick to harvest, and has a relatively low smell compared to most other strains.
But there are lots of strains that are suitable for first-time growers! What’s most important is to choose a strain that intrigues you, that way you’ll be unbelievably excited when you receive your seeds!
What’s the Best Marijuana Seed Bank?
Although there is no “best cannabis seed bank” there are many companies that have been used by hundreds of real cannabis growers like you and proven to be great and consistent sources of marijuana seeds.
The two creators of this site (Sirius and Nebula) live in the US and we rely exclusively on ordering seeds overseas for our own grows. We aren’t commercial farmers. We put together this list of popular seed sources including the ones we order from the most and why. Each of these marijuana seedbanks, seed vendors, and breeders have been put on this list based on their reliability, stealth, strain choice and how long they’ve been in the business. However, there are many other seedbanks and many of them are great! We just don’t personally have experience with them and only want to recommend what we know.
Get the best results by starting with seeds from a trustworthy seed source!
Safety Precautions For Buying Marijuana Seeds Online
If you’ve never done anything like this before, I bet your heart is racing at the idea of ordering something like cannabis seeds online. Federal law prohibits people from growing cannabis and you are worried. That’s good! It’s good to be careful, especially when it comes to growing weed! But…
Due to current customs laws in America, if your seed package from overseas gets caught in the mail, you don’t get put on a list.
First of all, I’m talking from not just my own experience (I’ve been ordering cannabis seeds online regularly since 2008) but also the experience of the thousands of growers from the USA who write in to GrowWeedEasy.com or talk about growing in the forum. For myself and for other growers, on the occasions where my seeds have been caught by customs in the mail, the U.S. customs agents simply toss the seeds and send you the rest of your package with an official looking letter explaining that your seeds were confiscated.
If that happens you, the next step is to contact the seed bank so they’ll send you a replacement package. Unless otherwise stated, all reputable seed banks will replace your seeds if they somehow get lost in the mail, and no one gives it a second thought. That’s how routine it is!
Many, many growers order seeds online every day, and to this day there has never been a report of someone in the USA getting in legal trouble for simply ordering cannabis seeds online. You can check me on that! In fact, American citizens have been ordering seeds overseas via mail order from Amsterdam since at least the 1970s, and even though it’s been over 40 years there hasn’t been a case of an American getting in legal trouble simply for ordering cannabis seeds online through the mail!
An American citizen won’t get in legal trouble for ordering cannabis seeds online from outside the country
However, because of the (backwards) way U.S. federal laws work surrounding cannabis, you can get in a lot of legal trouble for selling or sending seeds from one place to another within the USA, even between legal states! That’s why you never see long-term cannabis seed banks located in the U.S.
When marijuana seeds get caught by customs agents during shipping, the seeds get tossed and that’s it. It doesn’t matter what state you’re in, or your local laws. That is simply the way our laws about customs work. On the flip side, a U.S. sender can get in a lot of trouble by sending seeds from one place to the other within the U.S. (though this is still very, very rare).
Sometimes it’s better to hear it from other people, so I encourage you to join our grow forum and ask questions and hear answers from real people. This is a very personal decision, and you need to listen to your instincts, but I believe the evidence speaks for itself!
Cannabis seeds are often dark brown with stripes. However, the stripes are actually the result of a coating. If you rub the coating off, you will have a more pale, tan-colored seed underneath. Some seeds never really grow a good coating. It’s a good sign if a coating is there just because it means the seeds weren’t handled too much, but some of my best plants have come from tan seeds. These are all viable cannabis seeds, displaying the variation of colors you might run into.
A big tip for ordering cannabis seeds online…
Be Patient! In my experience ordering cannabis seeds from overseas, they generally arrive at my house in the US about 1-4 weeks after my initial order. It’s normally pretty quick, but it can take longer. I had a package go missing once, and they sent another. I got the replacement, and then a week later the original one showed up, a full 6 weeks after it was shipped!
I guess what I’m trying to say is, if it’s only been a few weeks, try to be patient and not worry because packages can get caught up. But if it’s been more than 2 or 3 weeks definitely contact the seed bank with any questions! They have experience with this and will be able to help you!
So what should you be worried about when it comes to security? Telling People!
When it comes to ordering seeds online, you have a lot of wiggle room as far as law enforcement is concerned if you live in the US or the UK. In these countries ordering seeds online is really a non-priority and the government is going to leave you alone about it. While they will go after growers they will not go after people just for ordering seeds.
So that’s a really important distinction you need to remember. When it comes to growing security, seeds by themselves may be technically illegal but you will never get in trouble for merely possessing seeds. It’s not worth anyone’s time to go after you for that.
What you need to be worried about is making sure no one knows you’re actually growing cannabis, that you currently have live cannabis plants in your house. That is what the government and law enforcement (as well as thieves) actually care about. They don’t want to knock down the door of anyone who may have ordered seeds, and instead put their resources into people who have been reported to be growing live plants.
Telling someone about your plants is hands-down the number one reason growers get caught – they told someone, whether it was a friend, a stranger, or even a family member, and that person (often meaning the best) told someone else, who told the wrong person…
How to Really Not Get Caught…
Don’t tell your friends that you’re growing! This may seem like it’s common sense, but this is the number one most common reason cannabis growers get caught, because they told a friend who told a friend who told the wrong person. Hundreds of seeds get confiscated every day, but no one gets in legal trouble.
Don’t worry about seeds getting caught in the mail; worry about a friend or family member finding out! No matter how much you trust someone, you can never trust someone else as closely as yourself. Never ever tell anyone you grow your own weed, for any reason. It’s tempting to brag about your awesome growing skills and top-shelf bud, but you never want to even hint that you know how to grow to anyone! If other people are talking about growing marijuana, bite your lip and act dumb!
Remember: If you can’t trust yourself not to tell anyone, how can you trust them not to tell anyone else?
Although it’s important to keep your marijuana grow hidden, keeping it a secret is even more important!
If you have done your research and are now considering purchasing cannabis seeds online, then you may be surprised to learn that it is actually very reliable and safe to buy your marijuana seeds online from a reputable seed bank. Some seed banks will even take payments from Paypal if you contact them first!
Have you decided you want to see a marijuana leaf growing in real life? Have you dreamed of seeing a real live marijuana plant growing in your home?
Ordering weed seeds online from a seed bank will allow you to purchase feminized seeds (all-female marijuana seeds) and will also let you pick the exact strain to match your size and time requirements.
Having only female weed seeds is a huge advantage for the small grower who won’t be breeding new strains and may have limited space and doesn’t want to have to waste time and energy on throwing away half their cannabis plants at the flowering stage because they ended up being male cannabis plants.
Easy access to buy incredibly potent cannabis strains is another great reason many growers choose to buy weed seeds online.
Common Question: Where do I buy marijuana seeds in the USA?
You have only a few real options:
- Use random bagseed that you find
- Know someone who will sell, trade or give you seeds/clones
- Buy seeds of specific marijuana strains online
It’s surprisingly easy to buy marijuana seeds online at a cannabis seed bank, marijuana breeder, or other vendor
Before anyone can start growing marijuana they have to first get their hands on marijuana seeds or clones.
Marijuana seeds are often the easiest for new growers to start with because, unlike marijuana clones, they don’t require access to someone who is already growing marijuana plants. When you see your first tiny little weed leaf you will know it was all worth it!
USA Residents Please Note:
For USA residents, international orders will not go through if you try to use a pre-paid debit or credit card. This used to be a way to add security to your order (purchase a pre-paid card in cash, then use that to make your online order) but these cards no longer work with any international order due to a change in laws that occured in 2012. However, there are lots of safe options to get marijuana seeds in the USA.
If you’re trying to figure out which cannabis seed banks deliver to the USA or another specific part of the world, you can find those answers in the list on this page!
