Basic / Breeders Info

Barbangie is a mostly sativa variety from Barba Seeds and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±65 days ), outdoors and in the greenhouse. Barba Seeds’ Barbangie is/was only available as feminized seeds.

Barba Seeds’ Barbangie Description

Barbangie is the bet of Barba Seeds to introduce growers to the world of taste in cannabis and particularly the world of terpenes, who determine the smell and taste of our plants. Barbangie our first fem has great scents and tastes mandarin, from his mother, the very famous and awarded Tangie.
After many efforts to seek to balance these flavors is that we use our Reverse Barbanner to pollinate our Tangie and thus give life to this wonder of cultivation
Barbangie has a slightly branched structure, produces broad and fat calyxes laden with resin that smells of tangerine and earth. It is a plant resistant to pests and resistant to high temperatures. Its flowering time skirts between 65 to 70 days making it ideal for those seeking a sativa, euphoric and cerebral high in a short time.

Grew in heat and cold, when other lettuces bolted or withered. Wonderful, very slightly bitter taste is great on it’s own, with perhaps a lemon vinaigrette, or as an addition to a mixed-greens salad. Heavier texture gives a substantial loft.

                                    best lettuce ever.

This lettuce is great. Crunch, delicious, grows well in all seasons, even dead of summer with consecutive 80 degree days. Only lettuce that never bolted out of 2 dozen varieties we grew. Great for salad mix too, we got up to 4 cuttings off it, and the leaves are great at all sizes. Grows faster then most lettuces. The one issue is it pretty much won’t germinate above 72 degees. Other then that, this lettuce is perfect.

                                    Versatile and Easy to Grow

Amazing flavor, fast grower, poor germination in summer

This is the best lettuce I’ve ever tasted. Its good at any size, and grows quick. Texture is great as well at most sizes, crunchier then most other lettuces even as baby. My only complaint is that it has been hard to get it to germinate well since the temperature in our home rose above 72 degrees with the summer heat. The heat hasn’t affected the flavor of the vegetable though, so if you can find a cool place to get it germinate, its smooth sailing from there on out!

sweet and delicious, this deer tongue lettuce produces generously. closely spaced, it can be sheared for baby lettuce, with rapid re-growth. at 5″ on center, the plants make larger leaves, but still quite tender and tasty when using just outer leaves repeatedly. handles heat and drought well.
